Project description

Teaching the Once and Future Middle Ages in the Secondary Education Classroom aims to enhance the teaching of world history in Georgia’s secondary schools by equipping educators with content knowledge and skills in primary source analysis. The focus of this project is utilizing primary sources to support teachers by providing lesson plans on the global middle ages created by historians. Another goal is to create a network between teachers of grades 6-12 and higher education academics for future collaborations that provide academics with more hands on experiences with pedagogy and grades 6-12 teachers with more varied content that builds upon their existing knowledge.
