Project description

Explore the “History in Context: Learning Scaffolds & Primary Sources for U.S. History and Civics” collection. This set of 25 short docs covers post-Reconstruction U.S. History and Civics topics. Each film is accompanied by a primary source set and analysis activity, a video guide and four versions of a scaffolded writing prompt.

These resources are perfect for engaging middle and high school students in essential stories from U.S. History while honing their ability to analyze primary sources, develop an answer to an essential question and support that answer with evidence.
