Organization description

Educurious is a 501(c)(3) education non-profit in Seattle, WA whose mission is to capture the imagination and interest of youth by integrating project-based learning (PBL), connections with real-world experts, technology, and career exploration to create meaningful learning and cultivate contemporary skills. Our organization was formed in 2011 by a group of learning scientists from the University of Washington with the support of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. The Educurious approach to PBL energizes and inspires students to gain content knowledge while building skills in communication, collaboration, problem solving, critical thinking, and creativity. For the past decade, we supported educators, schools and school districts with customizable tools, resources, and immersive professional development opportunities. Our programs include curriculum, professional development, and custom design projects.
