Organization description

Jones Academy is a Choctaw Nation–operated boarding school that receives funding support and oversight from the BIE. This partnership allows the school to combine federal resources with tribal management, ensuring culturally grounded, high-quality educational opportunities for Native youth.

Project description

Our TPS program will focus on history with an emphasis on Native American history. Delivered through our library and integrated into classrooms, the program is uniquely positioned within a boarding school setting. It will also feature a partnership with the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma’s Cultural Center, enriching students’ learning with cultural knowledge and resources.
