We are a two-year community college in the CUNY system; we award A.A. and A.A.S degrees. The majority of our students transfer into 4-year colleges in the CUNY system.

Project description

“Lift More Voices: Integrating ARTS & Literacy to Engage Culturally & Linguistically Diverse Students” is a project that expands awareness and use of local primary sources through a professional development program designed to facilitate lesson planning with arts-aligned primary sources. The project is intended to Increase use and integration of the arts for critical thinking and analysis across content areas to support the academic development and engagement of culturally and linguistically diverse students.
